Linda Olde Dubbelink

I am a PhD student within the d’Arc team, partially working at the Brain and Cognition Department of the University of Amsterdam and the Dr. Leo Kannerhuis. I am supervised by Prof. Hilde M. Geurts and Prof. Saskia van der Oord (KU Leuven). In my PhD project ‘Teens with ASD’, I will investigate which (executive functioning) difficulties arise during the transition from childhood to young adulthood in individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and whether a new cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be helpful for these teens.

Before I joined d’Arc, I received my Research Master’s degree in Health Care Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies, I  worked part-time as a research assistant in a multi-center randomized controlled trial which evaluated whether CBT combined with fish oil could reduce the incidence of psychotic disorders in adolescents who experience prodromal symptoms of psychosis. Furthermore, I conducted research for my thesis with Prof. Hilde M. Geurts and Anne Geeke Lever (MSc) on a performance validity test for ASD. Besides working on my PhD project, I work part-time as a psychologist.
